Useful long post, i bookmarked it really worth it. I never knew blogs can be found by Google images, that quite a great tip.
Commenting on related blog is good way of building awareness among other blogs and if the site does not use the nofollow attribute, then additional backlink benefit.

I stumbled on this blog looking for blogs to comment on in my niche! Clearly art and website promotion is not related! However I just want to add that this site has helped me. I learned about Comment Hut and about social bookmarking the pages that are approved. This would just add to my list of things to do - already overcrowded - but I might do it for a few of my sites on topic and related to the niche.
thanks again.
regards

Great tips here! I've never heard of CommentHunt.com, but I will be checking it out very soon.

You also nailed something that I've always done. Whenever I leave a comment on a blog, whether it's dofollow or nofollow, I like to also tag it to Delicious, StumbleUpon and submit it to Reddit. As you say, what good is a backlink when nobody, including search engines, can see the page. Adding it to these social sites has always been my way of getting the page noticed, as well as my link.

Glad to see that I'm not the only one that does this. (gonna go do this now, in fact)

You have obviously done your research on this subject. You should protect your content on this site to prevent people using your content on their blog ? excellent

Hi Melissa,

Another gem of a post. It will take a while to study and absorb and even longer to implement. But there are a few questions I have right now which would be great to have answers to.

I found many so called do follow sites based on your first post on Blog Commenting. But when I check the links they are no follow for most if not all comments. The question is: Is there a certain number of comments required before a commentator gets a do follow link? What would the number be?

When bookmarking it would seem that some bookmarking sites do not want one to bookmark the main page. I always wondered why.

Please keep up the good work. I'm so glad I discovered you through my friend Brian G Johnson. I'm lucky to know of people like you and him.
