Effective Guide For Advertising With USFreeAds
If you have been doing affiliate marketing for a while, you will have heard about using USFreeAds for classified advertising.
Some of you may have tried this with no results and others of you may still be successfully using this method to this day.
I've used it myself in the past with some measure of success, but I was flying blind. It would take creating a massive amount of ads before finally seeing some results.
Even though I had read massive amounts of information regarding how others were using USFreeAds for advertising, I came to realize that most were leaving something (and in many cases the most important piece of the puzzle) out of their explanation. So I basically put this method of advertising on the back shelf.
Then last week, I ran across a report called Cash By Choice. When I read the page, I was positive that he was talking about using USFreeAds. Even though I was very skeptical, along with the guarantee, I figured I had nothing to lose.
Now before I go any further with this, I want you to know that this manual is geared toward selling basic affiliate products using USFreeAds. The prinicples discussed in this book can literally be applied toward anything you are selling or sites you are looking to get traffic for - eBay affiliate sites, Amazon affiliate sites, sites built using datafeeds, individual products of any site you may be an affiliate of, digital downloads from Clickbank, etc.
What I found once I began reading was that this is the one of the most comprehensive tutorials for advertising using USFreeAds that I had ever come across. The meat and bones of the course actually begin on page 21 and continues for about 20 more pages.
The manual covers the following:
- Account setups
- Finding a Hot Market
- Finding and Picking Hot Products
- Keyword Research for Your Ads
- Creating Your Classified Ads (the package includes templates)
It really is a simple five step system to get up and running promoting anything you want on USFreeAds. The author goes into detail on the steps you need to take for creating a successful ad. The examples in the manual and the videos that come with this package are geared for Clickbank products, however the techniques and strategies shared can be applied to absolutely any product online.
So confident in my new found knowledge, I renewed my Premium membership with USFreeAds and started posting some ads. It is now nearly a week later and not only are my ads receiving steady traffic, but they are all ranking on the first page of Google results for my chosen keywords - some of which are fairly competitive.
Most importantly, these ads are converting! On average, one sale of some kind takes place for every 15-25 visitors. This is a pretty good conversion ratio. With some fine tuning in the ads, I may be able to make them perform even better.
I've got ads on there for eBay products (linking to my own sites), Amazon products (linking to my own sites), Clickbank products and individual tangible products from other affiliate programs in either CJ, Linkshare or ShareASale. I even have a few ads for some Resale Rights and Private Label Products that I have. These are great in that you keep 100% of the sale.
I wanted ads out there that covered almost every type of affiliate sale. The good news is that there has been at least one sale generated from every ad but one. I think that is pretty good for them only having been up a week.
So needless to say, I am very impressed with the knowledge I gained from this product. There is even more knowledge shared in the author's Private Coaching Program.

Hi Melissa – interesting post, and the results certainly sound great. But I have to admit to be a little sceptical.
I’ve tried using usfreeads for over 6 months and although I’ve made a few sales from it, it’s certainly not been impressive traffic.
Can you put your hand on your heart and say that you really have achieved these results? If so then I’ll be happy to buy the book through your link, but I’ve been stung a number of times before with this type of promotion

I can totally understand those feelings. Trust me, I am one of the world’s biggest skeptics. I’ve thrown more money away at more useless products than I care to admit.
If there is one thing you can be sure of with me, it’s that I will always be 100% honest with you. And I will never recommend anything that I do not use myself. That holds true with this product as well. Yes, I did achieve these results.
On the flipside, since it has been a few weeks, a few of the rankings for some of the ads have dropped further back. Those ads do not receive the traffic they once did, but still do pull in a steady stream of visitors and conversions every few days. The rest are still performing pretty well.
A lot of your success will depend on what you are promoting, what keywords you choose to target in your ad, etc. I will be honest and say that the process for creating an effective ad did not come together for me until I read this.

Thanks for your reply, and apologies for not responding sooner, but family and Christmas issues got in the way.
I’ll certainly buy the book and try to figure out what mistakes I’ve been making. And thanks for the tip about the backend offer – I’ve come to expect them now, but I always seem to get suckered in.
I’m not looking to make huge money through classifieds, but it would be nice to get some sort of regular income stream coming in so that I can use it as seed money to really get things flying (without having to constantly spend my own money).
Thanks for your offer re checking out some of my ads, but I don’t expect other people to put in their time for free, so I’ll see how I get on with the book.

Hi again – meant to have mentioned this on my last reply:
You were saying that you’ve noticed some of the Google rankings dropping off for some of your ads. I’ve discovered that making a minor edit to an ad every couple of weeks (just change a word or two) seems to keep the visitor rate up.
If this isn’t done, then a lot of ads just seem to stop getting any visitors at all.
I think it’s possible that making an edit causes an automatic re-index by the search engine robots.

I completely understand time and family issues at the moment. The Holidays are always busy, but it’s so nice to get together with everyone.

I understand the need to earn seed money. In my opinion, that is what marketing in this fashion is all about. I’ve been there and know how hard it can be to get the ball rolling. But once you have that, you are ready for anything that comes your way that will help your business.

I think you’re right regarding the rankings issue. The ads are just like any other page on the internet. If they are not updated regularly, then they tend to get ignored. It just makes sense. And you’re right, it only takes a small tweak to get the bots to return. I’ll give it a try and see what happens.

I purchased the book yesterday and have to say that it’s well worth the money (you were right though about the real info only starting on page 20!)

One question though Melissa: In the videos there is a lot of talk about Featuring some of the ads in a campaign in order apparently to assist in getting a higher Google ranking.
I’m having a little trouble understanding why doing this would help an ads search engine ranking – my understanding is that naking an ad Featured just helps it’s ranking position within the USFreeAds site itself?
Do you set any of your ads to Featured, and if so, has it made a noticable difference?

So sorry, I was out of town for a couple of days.
To be honest, no, I have not Featured any of my ads. I don’t see how it would help in Google either. Yes, it will rank higher on USFreeAds, but am having a hard time believing it would help with Google ranking. Here in the next week or so, I may take one of the better performers and one of the under-performers and upgrade them to Featured just as an experiment. If I do, and there is a noticeable change, I’ll let you know. Likewise, I hope you’ll let me know if the information helps you.

I’ve been reading this whole exchange and now I really want to know what happened next!
I tried USFreeads way back at the very start of my make money online adventure. I only focused on people seeing the ads on the USFreeads site at that time and completely missed the Google benefits. I also was pretty clueless about keyword research and seo.
Now that I’m a bit more educated on the subject of selling things (not a pro yet though), I noticed USFreeads showing up on page 1 of Google and became interested again. I just re-started a USFreeads membership last night and came across your site today. You seem sincere, so I’ll give this book a shot through your link.
To be honest, I’ve done OK with eBay Partner Network but no matter where I’ve put links or banners I’ve never had a bit of luck with CJ or Clickbank. I’m beginning to think I’m the only one who ever buys the stuff. I’ll let you know if this works out.

usfreeads.com can be very effective in internet marketing if used correctly.
It works best with long tail keyword marketing. Be sure to use your google adwords keyword tool (less than 1500 searchs a month) Use your keyword multiple times
I have been a premium member for almost a year and my sales volume has steadily increased monthly. I am now averaging around $700 a month (for only a $9.99 investment to be a premium member) I have over a thousand ads running but each month seems to get better and I learn more about keywords etc. It is frustrating but each month is a learning experience and I know that with due diligience, hard work and research that I will get there

So far so good as far as looks but I’m still fine tuning my approach. I’m using freeads for my site http://www.concealedsafety.com. Does anyone know how effective including that paypal button in the ads works? I’m selling stun guns and hidden cameras but so far, not a nibble!

getting an understanding of what the market has to offer. Always be careful with comparison engines and make sure you fully understand the extent of the cover provided as some tend to strip out cover just to quote a cheaper price.
