Revenue Sharing On A PhpBay Site

Do you have a partner that you build phpBay websites with and wish there was an easier way to share the revenue?

One of the forum members has created a great WordPress plugin that makes this extremely easy.

It's called the Revenue Sharing Plugin and you can get it here:
http://www.psp-tubes.net/wordpress/revenue-sharing-plugin-for-phpbay-pro/

This plugin lets you enter multiple EPN and CID numbers for each site and assign a share amount for each ID. So if you are building sites with one other person, you could set the shares to equal amounts or whatever ratio you and your partner have agreed upon.

However, if you prefer to split all profits straight down the middle, using a plugin like this will not work as one or the other person may earn more in one month than the other. In this case, you will need to continue with your current method of splitting profits.

I just thought I would put it out there for those of you who may not know about it and can use it.

  1. Hi Melissa

    Thanks for the link.

Just wanted to mention that the plugin works on random probability, and it works on page loads rather than per visitor.

It is true that in a given month 50/50 partners may not receive exact equal share, but while the one person may earn a bit more this month there is as much chance that the other partner will earn a little more the next month. As with all things random, it will all equal out over the long term.

One of the benefits I think is that each partner gets to see their own clicks and their own sales/earnings in their own EPN dashboard/account.

And, its eBay that pays each partner out directly, rather than having to rely on one of the partners.

I wish you a profitable day.

    Best regards.

    Alan

  2. Hi Alan,

    You’re quite welcome.

Thanks for taking the time to come over and leave a comment. As well, thanks for clarifying how the plugin functions.

I couldn’t agree with you more when you say that revenue would equal out over time. I firmly believe that as well, however I didn’t clarify it in my post.

I know that some people are sticklers for an exact split so that was why I warned them in advance.

Those were a couple of the things I loved about the plugin. The fact that each partner gets to see their own stats in their EPN account and that payments are hands-free since the payments come from eBay. Thanks so much for pointing that out.

Again, thanks for stopping by and I wish you great success with the plugin and your sites.

    All the best,

    Melissa
