As already mentioned that I work in exams like <a href="http://www.testking.net/testking-650-621.htm" rel="nofollow">650-621</a> and <a href="http://www.testking.net/testking-650-575.htm" rel="nofollow">650-575</a> to get a large share of my income. I'm pretty much interested in phpBay now as compared to BANS since the features listed with phpBay are more suitable for my website. Thanks for you awesome reviews that helped me decide over it and I look forward to hear more on these from you.

Is this the proper code to make images clickable in phpBay Pro? The link you have posted above seems to be having issues? Thanks!!!

Hi Luke,

You're very welcome. PhpBay tips are what I usually concentrate on trying to share here, but as you've probably seen, I tend to get a little distracted.

I agree with you, the column format seems to work extremely well and it looks great. And you are exactly right - see it, want it, click on it to get it. LOL

Thanks for this. i wouldn't have known otherwise. really useful as i'm building my first (partly) phpBay site around 7 inch singles for which the column format i think really works, and people respond to images in that format - i don't see why it's 'spammy', least not in my experience, just user friendly.

see thing, want thing, click thing!

Thanks for the comments.

In all honesty, speed and ease of setting up a site like these completely depends on what direction you want to take the site and how familiar you are with the platforms they are built upon.

I can have either a phpbay or a BANS site up in a matter of minutes. Ease of installation on both is a snap.

Ease of SEO and customization can be a whole other ballgame for some though. Much of it depends on your level of experience in building websites. Some people are more familiar with WordPress and others are more familiar with the html/php combo. Yet others are quite familiar with both.

Both have their advantages and disadvantages. Which is why I say I do not solidly prefer one over the other.

A lot usually depends on what direction I want to take the site. If it is going to be more of a static type of site that I'm not going to be adding an absolute ton of content to, then I'll use BANS.

If it is one that I can constantly add content to and is a hot topic, then I'll use WP and phpBay.

There are also instances where I will combine the two on the same site. ;-)

The point is, it becomes a personal preference as to which one you actually prefer.

Best of luck to all of you!

I particularly like BANS and have never had a problem with it. It offers a faster way to set up a site as far as I am concerned.

phpBay was essentially a no-brainer for me over BANS. Nothing against BANS as I have not tried it, but the cheaper price and my love for and growing experience with WordPress made the decision easy. There is great strength and flexibility with WordPress to build well rounded stores.
