I’m so sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I’ve been out of town. Actually, I’ve kind of had to put that site on the backburner due to other projects, but will be getting back to it very soon. I think I’ve spread myself too thin. LOL

The eBay affiliate program for some reason can be kind of picky. I have no idea why. I’m sorry you have had trouble getting accepted. For those who have had trouble getting accepted in the past, these are the steps they have followed.
1. Apply to the country in which you reside. If this fails, then apply to other countries. There will be at least one or two that should accept you.
2. Once you have been a member of another country for about 6 months, then reapply to the US program.
Many have been accepted once they complete this process. I know it seems like a long and lengthy process, but it can be worth it.

You may also send an email asking for a hand review of your website. Many times affiliates have been accepted once a hand review has been done.

One question: I’ve tried applying to join the EBay affiliate program and keep getting rejected – no idea why of course. Any tips that you can offer on getting acceptance to it?

I thought the idea of affiliate programs was to make money for the merchants, so can never understand why some get so picky!

Yes, autopilot sites are the best. I have a few I’d even forgotten about until earlier this month. And yes, going back to dial-up has been extremely painful for the last several days. I forgot how wicked slow it was.
