PhpBay Site Build - Third Month Stats
Though it does not seem possible, it has now been three months since GorgeousForLess was built. I still have not done any promotion for the site, but I had put that on the backburner after importing the posts from the Blogger blog.
The reason I chose not to heavily promote the site was that I knew Google would not like not only adding all of that content at once, but the sudden burst of traffic and links that would go with it. So I left it set for another month. However, I will definitely be adding more content plus starting promotion this month and you all will get to follow along.
So without further ado, let's see how we did this month. I have to apologize in advance for no screenshots and the basic stats at this time. Our satellite dish for our internet was damaged during a storm earlier this week and I am currently using dial-up as a backup to post this. I will post the screenshots as soon as the satellite internet is back up and running.
For the month of September, there were 521 unique visitors which is 184 more than the previous month. Spider activity nearly doubled for the month of September, which I am sure is due to the post import from Blogger. The duration of visitors was up as well, which was another goal I was trying to meet. Google and the other engines sent many more visitors than the previous month as well. At this time, it looks as though the goals I originally set for the site are being met. You will see this much clearer when I post the screenshots.
As for what the site earned, it earned around $5.00 with eBay and another $74.40 through the various affiliate banners on the site for a total of almost $80.00. Not too bad at all for a site that was built and pretty much left alone.
Again, some of this will be more clear when I can post the screenshots, but I wanted to get the stats post out as soon as I could.

Gotta love those sites that earn on autopilot. I’ve got a handful of sites that I haven’t done a single thing to in over a year, yet month in and month out deposits for $50+ a piece hit my account.
And dialup? Ouch!

Yes, autopilot sites are the best. I have a few I’d even forgotten about until earlier this month. And yes, going back to dial-up has been extremely painful for the last several days. I forgot how wicked slow it was.

Hi all - I dropped the ball on this one, didn’t I? I finally got my satellite internet back a few weeks ago and have been busy catching up ever since.
I will get them on here a little later today. I will also be posting September’s stats this week.
