Ioncube Is Now History In PhpBay

Yes, you read that correctly and I honestly couldn't be happier.

There was a new release of PhpBay just the other day that completely did away with the Ioncube requirement. Wade found another solution for encrypting code and was able to do away with it.

At this point, phpBay Pro should work on any hosting account without any problems. You will still need to verify your license file as per the instructions, but other than that, it now functions as any other plugin would.

I will be updating my previous posts to reflect this soon.

In the meantime, if you have used the plugin with Ioncube, there is no need to upgrade to the newest version. Just build your sites from this point forward with the latest release.
