EPN Report Reader – PiggyBank Plugin for WordPress

Ever wish there was an easier and less time consuming way to check your EPN reports without having to login to EPN?

If you host a WordPress blog, the good news is you can now display your EPN stats right in your dashboard. Alan over at psp-tubes.net and creator of the Search2Post plugin, has created an outstanding new tool for all eBay affiliates that use WordPress called the PiggyBank Plugin.

The PiggyBank plugin is designed for any eBay affiliate who has a WordPress blog. What makes this plugin so great is that it is installed on your own server and uses no third party sites. It uploads and installs like virtually any other plugin. Simply FTP the folder to your plugins directory, login to your blog and activate the plugin.

The top navigation bar in your WordPress dashboard will then show PiggyBank as a link in the top bar of your WordPress navigation. It will look like the following:

PiggyBank shows up in the navigation of your Dashboard

PiggyBank now shows in the navigation of your Dashboard

To configure and set your options, you now need to click on PiggyBank which will take you to the following screen:

This is where you fill in your EPN username and password along with the dates you wish to run the report. Once you have entered your EPN information and click "Save these options", it will remember your information from that point on. You will just need to change the dates for the report when you want to see your stats.

From there, you will also see a "Show Stats" tab. This is where you will find your current stats. The following description was taken from Alan's site:

Then it displays you the following info …

1) Your commission total for the current month. This is not dependent on the range of dates that you enter. It will always be for the current month.

2) A graph displaying your total sales per day. This takes into account refunds as well. It displays up to 65 days of data, from the date range that you specified.

3) A text display of each and every transaction during the date range that you specified. It shows the date of the transaction, the specific campaign ID, the campaign name, the eBay program, the total amount of the sale (or refund), the commission earned by eBay on the transaction, the eBay item number, and also a live link to the actual auction itself (so you can easily see what you sold).

4) In a separate section at the bottom there is a detailed text display that itemizes each of your ACRU’s (new users). Information in this block includes the date, the campaign ID, the campaign name, the eBay program, and the specific eBay item ID.

Ben Johnson also has a great review of the plugin on his blog that you might want to check out.

This plugin is a great time saver for those of you who login to EPN on a frequent basis. Many times it even shows sales before they even appear in your EPN dashboard.
