Bookmarking Demon 4 New Features Released

Around the beginning of July, I made a post about the price increase that was coming for the Bookmarking Demon software.
At the end of August, Edwin Brian - the software creator - announced the newest features of the Bookmarking Demon 4 release along with an update on the price increase. Apparently there have been some programming changes with his team which has caused the delay in completing and releasing the update.
However, according to the update, Bookmarking Demon 4 will be released within the next week or two and the price will increase from $97 to $147. Anyone who purchases the software now or anytime before BMD4 is released will get the update for free. This is a one time fee with no monthly membership charge.
Here are just a few of the features that are coming with the software:
- Bookmark to 100+ Social Bookmarking Sites
- Ability to add your own Scuttle, Scuttle Plus and Pligg Sites
- Ability to randomize your descriptions
- Bookmark to random accounts
- Pinging Feature
- Bookmark random on topic sites with your own sites
- Beginner Mode & Expert Mode
This looks to be a great improvement over the current software and those who already use it are anxiously awaiting its release.
If you have been thinking about getting it, now is the time. You will save $50 and protect yourself from any future price increases.
When used properly, this tool is a great way to get backlinks to your site as well as links to the deeper pages within your site. However, it must be used responsibly. Those who abuse its features will end up in trouble with Google.
Once BMD4 has been released, I will post a set of tutorial videos for you to show you how it works and my advice as far as best practices when using it.
Other than quality content and SEO practices, gaining backlinks are one of the most important things you can begin doing for your site(s).
Just as nearly everything else I recommend, everything this software does is something you can do on your own, but it will take you literally hours to sit and submit your links to hundreds of social bookmarking sites. Something to think about.
I just had a great idea and I want to get your thoughts on it. Once BMD4 has been released, I think I will run a contest with me social bookmarking some of your sites as the prize.
- 1st place will receive a bookmarking run for up to 5 links
- 2nd place will receive a bookmarking run for up to 3 links
- 3rd place will receive a bookmarking run for 1 link
The number of links per price level are subject to change. I may increase them. And the criteria to enter will not be difficult. I do not believe you should have to jump through hoops to enter a contest.

I just picked this software up recently. It is a great time saver for sure. One thing to watch out for is make sure that your website has some age on it before you start doing BMD runs or else it could look a bit suspicious in the eyes of Google.

Glad you like the software and I hope you got in under the gun of the price increase. You’ll get free updates for life and with BMD4 – the official release is just around the corner. Beta versions have been released over the past two weeks.
Actually, you can use this on a newer site. Just bookmark it once and leave it set for a few weeks. Then go back and bookmark another page, leave it set.
After a few more weeks, go back and bookmark again. Keep repeating until the site gains some age and then you can do more frequent runs. But never do more than one a week or every two weeks.
You want to stay under the radar by spreading your runs out over a specific time period is the key. It looks more natural this way.
Using the software is all about saving time when you bookmark, not getting as many links as you can as fast as possible.
