Deleted Niche Domains
I have a few places I like to search for deleted or dropped domains and every day I see hundreds, if not thousands of really good, keyword rich domains that slip through the cracks. Many have several backlinks pointing to the domain and others have massive keyword popularity, which means if you were to develop a site and point a few links to the domain, it would be extremely easy to rank for the keyword terms.
I cannot register and develop them all and so I'm going to start sharing some of the great domains that have recently been dropped (within the last seven days) and provide you with a discount link for registering. I will only be posting the .com domains as they are the most popular. The plan is to do this either every day or every few days and give you all the opportunity to go grab some awesome, keyword rich domains. Here is today's list:
- girl-shoes.com The keyword girl shoes gets around 528 searches a day
- shoescitycn.com 63 Yahoo backlinks
- batikbeauty.com 143 Yahoo backlinks
- regainbeauty.com Keyword rich
- bead-beauty.com 43 Yahoo backlinks
- power-wagon.com Keyword power wagon gets 518 searches per day
- powervortex.com 77 Yahoo backlinks
- phonecritics.com
- phoneataxi.com Would be great to geo-target major cities with taxi phone numbers
- spicemyphone.com Good for phone covers and accessories, maybe even an app store
- juicyiphone.com 206 Yahoo backlinks
- ezbuyphone.com 112 Yahoo backlinks
- epiphoneshop.com Keyword rich for targeting music instruments, etc.
- phone-jewels.com Cover or accessory site, 25 Yahoo backlinks
- chargephones.com
- phone-car.com Keyphrase gets 289 daily searches
- tiny-phone.com 416 daily searches
- evengolf.com 8 letter domain
- pjgolf.com 6 letter domain
- golfproelite.com
- vitalfishing.com
- punch-bag.com 279 searches, 26 Yahoo backlinks
- bagelracks.com
- patriotbags.com
- huntingfor.com 519 daily searches
This is just a small sampling from a few searches I conducted tonight. If you would like, feel free to request certain keywords and I'll see what I can come up with for domains. I will post some more in a few days. Have fun!

Fantastic, thanks Melissa. I love using Godaddy Auctions, I’ve found some great high traffic and high PR domain names there recently. I believe Dan from the BANS forum is currently working on a tool for there so that should be quite interesting.
I’ll be checking out your list reguarly to see if there are any I can snap up

I love browsing the Godaddy Auctions too, but these came from a source that only shows dropped names, meaning they are available to buy immediately. Most were dropped within the last 24 hours or last 7 days. I’ll keep doing this as I get time or when I go to search for something myself. I just hate to see great names fall through the cracks, but I cannot buy and develop them all.

Dang, from the sounds of it domain name is really important. Could you really make that much money just by buying one of these domains? I’ve never bought a domain name that was in use. Do you get JUST the domain, or the files and everything on the server and what not too? I’d like to get into it eventually.

Yes, you just get the domain name when you buy domains like these. The only way you get the whole website is if you buy it directly from the previous owner. Yes, you can really make quite a bit of money scouring the databases for names. I found a diamond about a year ago. The domain shopfrankoma.com had not been renewed and had just come up for sale. I bought it intending to build out an affiliate site for Frankoma pottery. I hadn’t had it two weeks and received a very substantial offer from Frankoma themselves for the domain. It had originally been theirs, but they dropped the ball on renewing it. Needless to say, I sold it back to them.
